Launched by Susan Sokol and Suzanne Zikas, High Alchemy is situated in SOHO at 584 Broadway between Prince and Houston Streets. The showroom has 4,500 square feet of open showroom space that features a lounge bar for guests to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The showroom will focus on a highly curated group of emerging and established designers, both domestic and international, in women’s fashion and accessories.

We opened High Alchemy because we felt based on our combined decades of fashion industry experience, we could bring a fresh point of view to this business model. We strongly believe there is a white space in the market for a destination of this elevated nature for the most talented designers, and best retail stores in the country run by fashion industry executives with decades of experience growing fashion businesses. High Alchemy works very closely with its brands to take their businesses to their next growth phase providing critical feedback, strategic consulting, and business guidance while capturing each designer’s unique vision, spirit, and talent.

SUSAN SOKOL

Susan Sokol is a renowned business leader in the global fashion industry in the contemporary and luxury markets. Partnering directly with creative founders, Ms. Sokol has served in President positions and stewarded all aspects of the business – sales, merchandising, production, marketing, operations, licensing and retail management – for iconic fashion brands Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Vera Wang and J. Mendel, Vera Wang and Donna Karan.
